This is a picture from our Quad Day. We told people about the reality of North Korea. It was a special time because not too long before the Quad Day, the leaders of North and South Korea took a step forward ending the Korean War.

Unification

Korea’s national reunification, when it eventually but inevitably comes, will remove one of the most dangerous legacies of the post-World War II era and heal a tragic national division that has lasted almost three-quarters of a century.

United States support for Korean reunification is firm, reflecting the strong U.S. interest in seeing a united Korea that is free, democratic and led by the ROK. When Korea is inevitably reunified, the major U.S. policy interests will include ensuring a peaceful and stable region, preventing the emergence of new security threats, and supporting Korea as it creates a unified, democratic, market-oriented society and economy that benefits all the Korean people.

Peace Treaty 2018

North and South Korea are taking a step towards peace, but is it likely?

This is a photo of the 15th President of South Korea Kim DaeJung holding hands with previous dictator of North Korea Kim Jung Il.

This was a time when both leaders discussed of peace in the year 2000.

This is a photo of the 16th President of South Korea No MooHyun also holding hands with previous dictator of North Korea Kim Jung Il in 2007.

This is a recent photo of the 19th President of South Korea Moon JaeIn holding hands with now dictator of North Korea Kim JongUn. This was a historical moment because Kim JongUn was the first leader of North Korea to step on South Korean soil. Many people are looking upon this historical moment positively; however, because there were previous meetings before that failed, many people are careful to keep their hopes up.
